A cooperative exists to serve its members, but what makes co-ops unique is that the members parents/guardians are also the leaders. The 4-H Cloverbud co-op cooking club will meet once a month at the extension office, facilitated by 4-H staff. The youth member’s parents/guardian will teach the Cloverbud youth members using the Discovery 4-H Cloverbud Cooking curriculum. Each month the club meeting will be led by alternating leaders (parents/guardians who will each take a turn with preparation/instruction). Cooperation is defined as working together towards the same end, and joining forces to accomplish a task that one can’t achieve alone. Come to the first co-op Cloverbud cooking club meeting to learn more about this cooperative club!
